It's been 4 years since this cool dude came into our lives...this birthday made mommy cry. Four is a big boy. The baby years are coming to an end. BUT...we have LOTS to celebrate and that is EXACTLY what we did today! We woke up and each family member brought him a balloon while singing happy birthday. Then, he came down to open his present from us. His breakfast of choice was a bowl of marshmallow cereal "filled allll the way to the top." (Lucky Charms) We had his friend McKenna over for a paint party where they made lots of awesome little creations. Then, the Halsey boys came to play at our house for a bit....then to the red park with our friends. The weather was perfect and the kids had some fun! We left the park for Leyton to pick out his special ice cream cake...this years choice? Strawberry. We came home for a late nap. Ate his dinner of choice---spaghetti and garlic bread. Blew out candles. Ate cake. Then watched a movie and ate popcorn. We finished out his 4th birthday by all laying in bed together to read a book of his choice...."Too Many Toys."

Happy 4th birthday to our sweet spirited little man. You bring us bunches of happiness and we just love watching you grow and learn. We are blessed to be your mommy and daddy!

Happy bday Leyton!!!! I remember holding him when he was like 4 months old. Now he is 4!!!
