This is my post it note to remind myself that I have a new song for Miss EE...
This Little Light of Mine by Addison Road
It's a perfect song for you, my sweet daughter. I think of you every time it comes on the radio.
I love you,
Mommy

Double E gets an A...
at her 15 month well check. An A for being so patient---we were there for 2 hours!!! Mommy gets a B-...and that's being generous.
She weighs 25 pounds and is 30.5 inches tall.
The doc told us to get rid of that paci. Mommy smiled and nodded....knowing good and well that isn't going to happen. You see, me and my kiddos have come to an agreement that they get their paci until they are 3. (for sleepy time only) Enjoy it Harrison...you got 6 months left. He's gonna flip. (probably why they tell me to take it away now...)
2 shots. No bueno, but it's over!

The Fantastic Fifteen!
She usually wakes up from naptime first. When she hears her brothers stirring around upstairs, she books it to the stairs, points up, and starts a full on conversation with me. It sounds like this..."Eee bee de da uh ya ya dis" or something similar. Cracks me up because she acts like I understand exactly what she said. She makes a mad dash up the stairs and starts screeching when we get close to their rooms. She wants in Harrison's crib and smothers him with kisses. The sweetest thing. Then, she lays on top of Leyton and giggles. I love how much she loves her big brothers....and how much they love her.
She only takes one nap now. It works great with our schedule. She is asleep by 6 pm most nights though.
Harrison calls her Warehouse Mouse. (from the Imagination Movers) The other day he hit the golf ball and it rolled between her legs. He walked over and said, "I'm sorry, Warehouse Mouse."
She loves her paci.
She's a hip baby as soon as her daddy is around.
She is doing a lot of imitating these days. Pretending to rub lotion on her body or brushing her teeth when she sees me. My favorite is when she puts my phone up to her ear and says "Daddy?"
Already throwing some fits. We left Gymboree last week and she was rolling around the ground...fake crying---not a tear in sight. I asked a girl in there if her daughter does the same thing (she is an only child) and she said her daughter had NEVER done that. Hopefully she didn't start after seeing the performance EE put on.
Speaking of Gymboree, EE has her first boyfriend. His name is Gymbo. He is the stuffed clown mascot. She is obsessed and is always giving him kisses. I think she should be in a long term relationship with Gymbo until at least college.
Fifteen Fabulous Fantastic Fun-filled months with our sweet daughter. We love you bunches!

4 Years (and some change)
Here's a little update on our Leyton too.
He is pretty much obsessed with drums and guitars.
He enjoys Little Sluggers. Just started swim lessons at the gym.
He loves playing Mario Bros.
Independent little man.
Whenever I have done something that requires an apology, he'll say "that's okay mommy, you can still sing everyday." So random...and forgiving.
His drum sticks go just about everywhere with us.
We love you, Leytonio! You make us proud every single day! xoxox
2 and a Half!
14 Months!
We've had our first injury. A black eye. Erin-Elizabeth took a spill onto the corner of the train table. Blood and all. She woke up the next morning with a purple eyelid and a cut on the side of her eye.
Which leads me to this...She is a walker now.
She is talking more and more. I like how she says "kkkkk" for milk exactly the same way Harrison did at this age. She loves on her babies but her most favorite toys are balls and her dinosaur. She kisses and hugs him lots.
She puts the guitar strap around her neck when the boys are playing their instruments. I think I see a garage band in our future.
She is obsessed with kissing Harrison. "Stop it, Seester...not nice!" is Harrison's usual response. I think she really just loves to pester him.
She laughs everytime she sees that we left the baby gate open on the stairs....then she makes a mad dash for them. Sneaky little thing.
It's been a fun-filled month with our little girl. She is awesome!
Happy 14 Months, EE. We love you!
