12 Days of Christmas
We started our 12 days of Christmas celebration today. Day 1: go and pick our 2010 ornament for the tree. Harrison picked the penguin. He was quite indecisive. He really wanted a lot of different ornaments. Erin-Elizabeth picked the doll because mommy kinda persuaded her to. She did like chewing her braids though. Mommy picked JOY because that reminds me of our Christmas card for the year...and my family brings me sooo much joy. Leyton picked that ginormous candy cane because he liked pretending to eat it...and he liked hitting things with it. And last but not least...Russell picked the snowman because he likes him...because he looks happy.
Cookies and Castles
Our BFF's, the Halsey's invited us for some Christmas fun at Scottish Rite Hospital this weekend. The kids had a blast!!! Leyton decorated a giant gingerbread house and Harrison decorated a giant gingerbread man. They had such a blast with their friends and picking out from the huge assortment of candy. I think both kids ate their weight in sweets this day. Then, they sat on Santa's lap. Harrison seriously looked like he was about to fall asleep on Santa's lap. I think he was in a candy coma. Leyton carried on a deep conversation with Jolly Ol' Saint Nick for a while. Turns out he was explaining to him that he would like some flat, round paintbrushes. Harrison stayed true to his original Christmas wish...french fries.

LaLa
Lala! That is the nickname your big brother Leyton has given you. And I guess it's stuck because Harrison calls you that all the time too....and he also calls you Elizabef. I had to post pics of your new do. Once mommy figured out that you had just enough hair for tiny pigtails, you have sported them almost every day. Except when mommy feels guilty because she doesn't want you to experience the "ponytail headache" at such a young age. Speaking of age, YOU ARE 11 MONTHS OLD TODAY! How in the world? You are getting more dramatic by the minute. Your top teeth came through...drama. You fell and didn't bump anything...drama. You have something taken from you...drama. We sit you down after we get you out of your crib....drama. Well, you get the point. We love your theatrical ways....and we love you, LaLa. Thanks for being so awesome.
