Kids are under the weather. EE woke up at 3:00 in the morning...it wasn't just any whimper, it was the "YOU BETTER COME & GET ME" cry. I picked her up and laid on the couch in her room with her on my chest. She poked my eyes, pulled my hair, and then got right in my face and said "Are you hungry?" I did NOT give her food....but homegirl was ready for breakfast. Food is always the first thought when her eyes open.
Our family also has some other BREAKING NEWS to share....we joined Costco! Now our weekends are usually really packed...you know, going to the Home Depot AND Costco! We are officially real live grown-ups. On our first big outing to Costco, Leyton said "Yeah!!! We are going to Chicago!" Trust me buddy, if we are going to Chicago we are going to have a few suitcases with us. Now, our family calls it Chicostco. Aren't we clever!?

Pinky Swear!
Dear Kids,
Your mommy has been a slacker. I used to really keep track of all the darling things you'd say. I'd write it down or post it on this blog. I even used to take pictures of you guys. I not only promise, I PINKY SWEAR, that I am going to start again. Please know that you have been very cute and extremely funny for the past year. You'll just have to take my word for it.
