EE had her 12 month well check today....just a few days shy of 13 months. She had a cold, then an ear infection, and then the tummy bug....so finally-today was the day. She is 29 3/4 inches tall and weighs 23 lbs 6 oz.
She was a wiggle worm---finally I just let her crawl around on the floor. Yuck, but what do ya do?
The nurses questions...
Does she have at least 3 words? yep
Can she stand on her own? nope...wait yep. do you mean stand up on her own or let go of something. (gosh, I'm always difficult)
Does she drink from a cup? she drinks from a cup...and she drinks her bath water. is that gross?
Does she take 2-3 steps on her own? nope. well, yes. i guess it's about 2 steps between the coffee table and the couch. plus, she walks holding one of my fingers. that counts, right? (nurse hates me now.)
Does she imitate you? yes
Can she wave bye bye? yes (vowing to keep my answers shorter and more concise....even though i did want to tell her how cute her wave really is with her hand facing her own body.)
Doc came in...ee yanked on his pants and snatched his pointy looky thingy. She's a ninja. She played the whole cute card really well...buried her head into my shoulder...looking up at the doc with a half smile. Just as he commented on how sweet she is, she pulled the crud out of my hair. Then pulled my nose off. Almost.
She got 2 shots...and a tb test. She didn't like that much. I didn't either.
