Kids!

Just thought I'd write a quick update on the kiddos.

Here it is---from shortest to tallest....
Erin-Elizabeth: She is getting such a little personality. She is an AMAZING fake crier. Loves loves loves attention. She will be crying and we just have to look at her and she busts out her gummy grin. She still only has her two bottom teeth, but the pedi says the top two are about to poke through. She is an army crawler but still prefers for us to lug her around! She gets on all fours all the time. She tries to pull up all the time and has been successful a few times. She likes most everything that we have given her to eat. Not a fan of blueberries though. She is a giggle box and "talks" or "sings" a lot. She loves to play peek a boo.

Harrison: ....will be celebrating his 2nd birthday tomorrow. (he will officially be two on the 29th) Harrison can usually be found around the house wearing someone elses shoes. Today he had on my uggs and they went allllll the way up to the bottom of his diaper. He also likes to sport his construction goggles and hard hat. He pretty much copies every single thing his big brother does and LOVES to hang with Leyton. He loves school AND his lunchbox. He can still throw a mean fit! He loves riding on mommy or daddy's back. He is fascinated with bugs...kind of a love/hate relationship. (the same type of relationship he has with Chuckee Cheese) He loves the big furry mouse until he has to get close to him. He talks about Chuckee at home and even pretends that he is here playing with us. His favorite meal is breakfast. He is still majorly attached to his lovie and paci and he just does not like the fact that he can only use them while he is sleeping. He has enjoyed hearing us sing "Happy Birthday" to him over and over...and he is great at practicing blowing out his candles. When we ask him how old he is going to be, he replies "2" while holding up five fingers.

Leyton: He would be a couch potato if I'd let him. There is nothing this kid wants to do more than snuggle up on the couch with popcorn and one of his favorite shows. He likes Word World, Super Why, and Imagination Movers the best. His little brother is his best friend and he tells him that often. He is a funny little guy who is FILLED with questions. They all start like this..."Mommy, I gotta ask you something." And he will not ask the actual question until I acknowledge his statement. He asks everything from "Why do cars have to drive on the road?" to "Can we stand on clouds?" ALLLLL day long. By the end of the day when I hear, "Mommy, I gotta ask you something." my reply is usually "Wow...really, that is a surprise." Tonight he told Russell that he was going to go to college with daddy and Harrison. He said he has to bring a phone though to call mommy. Really?!?! Why don't I get to go to? And what about EE? He also told us how he'd pack his toys to bring to college with him, but he wanted to know how he'd get them there. Russell told him that he would be able to drive by then. He loves getting in mommy and daddy's bed after he gets up in the morning and he wants me to put the baby in there with him for some morning snuggles. It is so cute. He is enjoying school and mimics his teachers around the house. He just recently started fighting his naps. He takes a good one if he actually falls asleep. He has had a big ol' appetite lately which is not like my guy. He tells me he is hungry all the time. He has a notebook that he writes reports on and tells me that he NEEDS to share his reports with daddy. My favorite thing now is when I say something like...."Leyton, you need to hold my hand while we are in the street." He'll reply with "I'm walking on my own, but thank you anyway mommy." Yep, not so much on the listening but at least he is remembering his manners. :)
