Happy Girl!
Well, that definitely wasn't the same face I saw right after surgery. Turns out EE isn't too fond of the anesthesia. She was super duper sad. Thrashing and crying....wouldn't calm down at all. Most babies get aggitated, but Erin-Elizabeth took it to a whole new level. Poor thing. The nurse that stays with you until your baby calms down didn't understand why she wasn't mellowing out. I would have probably been a little nervous except that Leyton was the same way when he had his tube surgery. They expect most babies to return to normal within 30 minutes or so....not her! She was very upset for over half of the day! :( BUT...that is behind us and she is doing great now! We are very thankful! Here's to her new blue tubes (why don't they come in pink?) and NO MORE EAR INFECTIONS!!! wooohoo!
